Booking Terms & Conditions

1. Bookings & deposits

A booking is confirmed when we receive your signed booking form and a non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total tour cost. The balance is due no later than 60 days prior to the departure date. Bookings made within 60 days of departure require full payment at the time of booking.

2. Cancellation by you

• More than 90 days before departure: full refund less deposit
• 60–90 days before departure: 50% refund of total tour cost
• 30–60 days before departure: 25% refund of total tour cost
• Less than 30 days before departure: no refund

We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance covering cancellation, medical expenses, and trip interruption.

3. Cancellation or changes by us

We reserve the right to cancel, reschedule, or alter any tour due to weather, mechanical, operational, or safety reasons. If we cancel a tour in full and cannot offer a suitable alternative date, you will receive a full refund of all monies paid. We are not liable for any consequential losses (such as connecting flights, accommodation, or lost work).

4. Weather & safety

Safety is our absolute priority. Flights operate subject to weather and CASA regulations. The pilot in command has sole discretion to delay, divert, or cancel a flight at any time. Where weather prevents flying on a scheduled day, we will use reasonable endeavours to reschedule within the tour window or refund the affected portion of the tour.

5. Passenger requirements

• Guests must declare any medical condition that may affect their ability to fly in a light aircraft.
• Maximum passenger weight limits apply per CASA regulations — please advise weights at the time of booking.
• Children under 8 years of age are not generally permitted on multi-day tours; please contact us to discuss.
• Baggage is strictly limited to one soft bag per person (max 10kg) plus a small day pack.

6. Inclusions & exclusions

Inclusions are listed on the tour page and your booking confirmation. Travel insurance, alcoholic beverages, items of a personal nature, and transport to/from the departure airport are not included unless otherwise stated.

7. Liability

Murray Darling Scenic Flights operates under Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) approved standards. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the price of the tour. We are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms excludes any rights you have under Australian Consumer Law.

8. Conduct

We reserve the right to terminate any guest's participation in the tour without refund if their conduct, in the reasonable opinion of the pilot, endangers the safety or enjoyment of others.

9. Privacy

Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
